Overview

Accomack County, Virginia, adopts the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (VUSBC) (based upon the ICC body of codes). VA. Code Ann. § 36-105, Accomack County, VA, Muni. Code § 18-1, and See PLRB, Accomack County, Virginia. Note that the state codes supersede all previously established local codes and regulations of all political subdivisions in the state. VA. Code Ann. § 36-98 (board to promulgate statewide code).
